Here's a great tip for telling if a chest you're about to open will eat your face. If you look at the text prompt before you open it will say " Open the Chest" this means it's a Mimic and gnashing teeth will soon follow. Mimic's have been around since early Final Fantasy games and numerous games since including Dark Souls. Mimic's are in multiple zones one can also be found during the "Fists of the Warband" quest. The Treasure Chest Mimic is not your friend sitting there looking all innocent with the promise of epic loot only to bite your face off! One of these can also be found with the " Clockwork Tomb" along with the Cube, so to save time, kill them both in this zone. SOLUTIONS Level 1 - Upper Sewer Level (Map 1) Walls: Red brick walls covered with slime. These 'Ooze' type enemies are also a staple for a lot of fantasy MMO's, sometimes known as 'gels'. Don't confuse it with the mount version of the same name if you're searching for it in the Wiki. There are also a few scattered in Castle Never if you ever get that far.
